Rihanna

I love Rihanna’s chorus in this song. I haven’t had time to analyze the rest of the lyrics but the few words that Rihanna sings really strikes a chord. This doesn’t necessarily relate to myself, but I think it definitely rings with her recent involvement with her ex. It speaks to human nature, about how we often are in a state of denial and will accept things that society views as unacceptable. Do we do these things because we truly love a person or is it because we are so scared of being lonely and confronting change? I’d like to believe that it’s the latter, but even so, its frightening that the concept of loneliness could scare us into suffering physically and emotionally instead of being free.
